In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Prashant Ramsheth Thakur of BJP won in this constituency beating Haresh Manohar Keni of PWPI by a margin of 92,370 votes which was 30.54% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Prashant Ramsheth Thakur of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Balaram Dattusheth Patil (Balusheth) of PWPI by a margin of 13,215 votes which was 4.66% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Prashant Ramsheth Thakur of INC won this seat defeating Balaram Dattatreya Patil of PWPI by a margin of 12,961 votes which was 7.89% of the total votes polled for the seat.
