Bima Bharti

Bima Bharti is a veteran politician fielded by RJD for the Rupauli (Assembly Constituency) seat. She has been elected several times and served as minister (Sugarcane Industries) in the Bihar government. In her 2025 affidavit, she declared assets of about Rs 3.95 crore and has three criminal cases pending (none yet proven). She previously held the seat multiple times under JDU and RJD, but in the July 2024 by-election she lost: independent candidate Shankar Singh defeated JDU’s Kaladhar Mandal and Bharti finished third (with around 30,100 votes) in the by-poll.
