In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Zeeshan Baba Siddique of INC won in this constituency beating Prin Vishwanath Pandurang Mahadeshwar of SS by a margin of 5,833 votes which was 04.61% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Prakash (Bala) Sawant of SS was the winner in this seat beating Krishna Dhondu Parkar of BJP by a margin of 15,597 votes which was 12.52% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Prakash (Bala) Vasant Sawant of SS won this seat defeating Chandurkar Janardan Chandrappa of INC by a margin of 7,420 votes which was 6.21% of the total votes polled for the seat.
