This constituency covers an approximate area of 1119.48 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sabalagadh is: 20°39'28.4"N 75°10'30.0"E.

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Kishor Appa Patil of SS won in this constituency beating Amol Panditrao Shinde of IND by a margin of 1,596 votes which was 00.79% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Kishor Appa Patil of SS was the winner in this seat beating Dilip Onkar Wagh of NCP by a margin of 28,403 votes which was 14.97% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Wagh Dilip Onkar of NCP won this seat defeating Tatyassaheb R O Patil of SS by a margin of 6,214 votes which was 3.82% of the total votes polled for the seat.
