In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Ram Kadam of BJP won in this constituency beating Sanjay Bhalerao of IND by a margin of 28,751 votes which was 19.24% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Ram Kadam of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Sudhir Sayaji More of SS by a margin of 41,916 votes which was 26.23% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Ram Kadam of MNS won this seat defeating Poonam Mahajan Rao of BJP by a margin of 26,228 votes which was 18.35% of the total votes polled for the seat.
